    A good game for fun!
A good game for if you want some fun and fight, the fatalities are easy to do and the animations of them are nice and cool. It hasn't many combos to make and it makes the game a bit boring and repeatitive.

The adaptation of Mortal Kombat characters with the characters of DC Universe it's very good and it's hard to see the difference powers between them, also the history mode argument and videos are very good!

It is not the best fighting game, but so fun if you like Mortal Kombat or the Superheroes that appear in this game.

Buy this if only u r MK hardcore fan
I bought this game and apart from the pretty character modelling, it fails.I regret that I bought this game coz the game play is so lame and the combo is so bland and repetitive and though simpler than Tekken,I find it's hard to pull.Listen to me:Stay away from this game unless u r MK hardcore fan!

Fun, if shallow cross-over fighter, and the best MK in years.
I didn't like the idea when it was first announced, but this game grew on me. I gave it a try, and what do you know- it's not half bad. The main enjoyment is the loooong story mode, of which you pick either the MK or DC side and play through the various characters to the ending. The plot is kinda honky, but well presented with pretty excellent cutscenes and voice-acting. At the very least, both MK and DC fans won't be crying bloody murder at any rape of their favorites.
The combat is fine, and while still having that trademark MK stiffness, is pretty solid, though new elements like Klose Kombat feel kinda wonky. It's more or less friendly to button mashers, though you can try to memorize moves and combos if you feel the need. Special moves look flashy and the animations are pretty smooth and look great.
The big issue is, weirdly enough, not about gameplay but presentation. To get a Teen rating, the game toned down the trademark Fatalities (and gave the DC heroes equivalent, if kinda tame, Brutalities as finishers), and these were toned down even more in the US version. Case in point- the Joker's fatality, where he delivers a fatal headshot, is censored to have the victim be offscreen in the US game. Well, if that irks you, then the European or Asian version is the way to go- the game is uncensored here. Hurray for the right to enjoy carnage!

Anyway, this is a shallow but nice-looking beat 'em up. VERY light on any extras, but hopefully DLC will augment the game soon. A nice diversion from 'serious' fighters, so fighting fans may want to check this out as a break from SCIV or while waiting for Tekken 6.
